Pilates
Pilates
Reformer Pilates helps rebuild strength, restore alignment, and support full-body mobility through mindful, low-impact movement. Unlike high-intensity workouts that can strain a recovering body, Pilates emphasizes precision, breath, and stability—making it an ideal foundation for recovery after pregnancy and birth.
Research shows that Pilates can improve diastasis recti, pelvic floor function, lower back pain, and posture changes from feeding or carrying your baby. The reformer’s adjustable resistance allows you to move safely at your current capacity while gradually rebuilding strength and confidence in your body.
Our instructors specialize in pre- and postnatal modifications, focusing on pelvic floor support, core rehabilitation, and safe progression through each phase of recovery. If you're receiving other services through The Alabaster House, your maternity concierge coordinates with your providers so your Pilates sessions complement your overall care plan.
And while many clients begin during pregnancy and continue postpartum, Pilates is for anyone seeking to build strength, improve mobility, or reconnect with their body after a season of change.
Come as you are. Move with intention. Leave feeling grounded, strong, and connected with your body.
